Waste types
The type of waste affects how we handle your waste, so tell us what is going into the bin before booking. We use three main waste categories for quoting and service planning.
Three waste categories
Correctly identifying the waste type helps us match the bin, transport and disposal requirements to the job. If a load will contain more than one material type, describe the mixture when requesting a quote rather than guessing the category.

For building, renovation and trade work. Tell us the main materials being generated so the job can be quoted and handled correctly.
Dense materials need to be identified separately when booking because weight and handling requirements differ from lighter waste.
Important
The type of waste affects how we handle your waste. Hazardous materials, liquids, gas bottles and asbestos are not accepted and must not be mixed with general waste.
Bin sizes
A larger bin is not automatically the correct choice for every material. We consider the waste type, estimated volume, site access and the practical weight of the load.
How to book
Select the category that best describes the load and use the notes field if the material is mixed or unusual.
Choose your preferred size or tell us enough about the job for us to help narrow it down.
Enter the postcode and suburb so the quote form can check our standard service area.
Describe the placement location and upload photos if access, gates, driveways or positioning may need planning.
For builders and trades
For ongoing building and renovation work, the waste stream can change as the project moves through different stages. Tell us what is being loaded at each stage so we can confirm the appropriate bin and service.
Do not guess if the load contains mixed materials or you are unsure how it should be classified. Describe the waste in the quote request or call 1300 785 845 and we can confirm what information is needed.
We’ll use those details to confirm availability and prepare the quote.
